Erin was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio before she left to pursue her big city dreams in Chicago. She graduated in 2010 with her bachelor’s in nursing from Loyola University Chicago. She traded snowstorms for sun after graduation and moved to Austin, TX. She began her nursing career on the Intermediate Care Unit at Dell Children’s Medical Center.

After working as a nurse for three years, big city living called her name again. She had a short hiatus from Austin while she obtained her master’s degree from University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She returned to Austin and worked in pediatric epilepsy and neurology at Dell Children’s. She now works in a busy pediatric primary care office.

Erin enjoys traveling and recently spent six months traveling the US in an RV with her husband and two dogs, Magic and Milo. She loves trying new restaurants and is a coffee connoisseur. Erin is on the board for pediatric nurse practitioners (NAPNAP) in Austin.
